Give the woman a prize! She wore a coat TWICE!

I suppose I should start by saying two things. Firstly, this is a strange way to kick off a new blog that is seemingly supposed to be about baby related stuff, and secondly, I am a fan of the Duchess of Cambridge and this post isn't directed at her but rather at the inane way that people make news stories out of non-stories!

The one that I just read that really got my goat is ""Kate serves another style ace! Duchess recycles a tailored Max Mara coat to visit charity projects in Edinburgh". How wonderful, I thought. She's an upcycler, I thought.

No. What actually happened is she wore a coat for a second time, that she previously wore on Christmas Day in Sandringham. Wow. Twice. How very brave of her.

Don't get me wrong, I probably have items of clothing that I don't wear very regularly, but why oh why are we making a news story of the fact that she wore the same coat on two separate occasions, two months apart?

The world is going crazy!
